Review 2010

The theme evening at the 33rd festival was a South American evening with Bossa Nova and Ana Bonfim & trio la ola do Brasil (Bra/D).

The very popular dance workshop, last year Bossa Nova as a dance, was guided by Ana Mirjam Griesbach & Andreas Wanders.

The folk and worldmusic day began with the childrens programme from Firlefanz: around the world in 80 tones. Then real folklore followed with the dance group of the Pontischen of cultural association Krefeld. Provinztheater with Rumpelpolka vom Niederrhein, Alla Fagra (S) modern Swedish folk, Dr. Bajan (Rus/D) Sovietabilly not ending and Metisolea (F) Mestizo-sensation from Bordeaux were the highlights of the day.

Helmut Schroers (Mediothek Krefeld) officially opened the 33rd festival.
